Paid two nights in advance. Left to work on a Sunday. Left please tidy my room tag on door. Came back to an unmade bed & breakfast dishes still in room. Rang and asked why not tidied up all I got was excuses. No action. Said no cleaners on Sunday???? The staff was going to do it but restaurant was busy. Excuses dont make good business people. The rooms shower was very noisy and had to boost the tv volume up to near full volume. Stain on sheet along with hair. Not sure if stain was from ironing or what but I didnt like seeing it let alone sleeping on it. It makes good practice to check sheets for stains. Not see them and go oh well and carry on. The bedside light I thought had a blown bulb so I switched it out with other sides light, no luck. Then I followed the cord, the stupid thing wasnt even plugged in. I have stayed in other motel rooms in bundaberg over two nights and came back to a beautiful clean room with beds made. Next holiday.... avoid bundaberg. How very very disappointing. They were very happy to take my hard earned cash though. The chef in the kitchen Sunday he / she needs a huge bonus. Excellent food for the 18.50 for breakfast.
Stayed a night at the sugar country motor in on our travels from airlie beach to Brisbane. It was a great place to stay! Our car was too big to fit in the car spot we had paid for so we got a free upgrade with no dramas and our car fit perfect . The rooms are cozy nice modern bathroom. Service from the owners was amazing! Friendly staff. The resturant service was amazing and the food was delicious and reasonably priced . Would reccomend and will stay here again.
Awesome motel. Friendliest staff ever. Manager had a beer with me and chatted. Chef is a wizard with steak. Bed is comfortable and room clean and tidy
