I approached Bundaberg Toyota on Monday morning for a trade in price on my 2015 land cruiser. They had the whole day to inspect it as it was in for some work, I entered the store at 4 pm to pick up my car. We sat down to discuss the new land cruiser I would be trading up too and the extras that go with it, so far so good. I could not get a price that day was told I would be called the next day, it didnt happen I called back in Tuesday afternoon as I was driving past anyway to ask what was going on was told they were waiting on the new bullbar price. Give you a call tomorrow. I rang Toyota on Friday afternoon at 4 pm and told the nice receptionist what I thought of the service. At 5 pm my phone rang with a price. I was not going to go anywhere else cause I am a local business owner who believes in shopping local, but by Wednesday a friend recommended Biloela Toyota I rang them and had a price that day for trade in over the phone with a few photos sent. The price was better by 4500 dollars in Biloela I asked is there anything they could do with the price and they droped a further 3500 dollars off a total of 8000 dollars cheaper. The funny thing here though if I was given a price the first day I would have definitely tried to work him down but I would have signed as this would have been my 4 th vehicle from Bundaberg Toyota in three years between myself and my parents. I have spoken with the relevant salesperson and have accepted their apology. I will give them another go in twelve months when I purchase a Ute for work as I want to shop local.
Rubbish service with regards to how they treat their loyal customers. Reluctantly purchased our first car here but never again. They are more interested in getting you in to sign on the dotted line rather than being honest and up front. Do your research and compare prices as these guys are rarely a front runner on the best deal.
