Very friendly custodians and very helpful
Location is fantastic! The lady looking after the place also very friendly and super helpful. This was our first experience with holding grey water (we do have a fitted tank) and when I asked how/where to empty it she lent me a portable container to cart to the dump point, which saved us having to carry the extra 20+kg 2hrs up the road.Only negative was the dogs. People who have dogs who cannot be quiet should not bring them camping. We were unfortunately parked between 2 lots (albeit with enough space that 2 others could have also parked there but it was not full that night) and every time the yappers from the small 5th wheeler on one side of us started the big dogs from the bus on the other side responded, particularly if the small ones were being walked past, when meant they'd start up again having seen another dog. Not another camper in the whole place was a problem, and there were other pets, but these 2 vehicles certainly destroyed our peace. Luck of the draw but would be nice if there was a bit more supervision and people with uncontrollable animals evicted or asked to keep them inside where they won't be overexcited.Everything else was great, and we were encouraged to refill our water tanks from the hose when leaving as our next stop would not have drinking water, so that knowledge and advice was much appreciated.
